Daniel Meckel, Ph.D., LCSW-C, offers psychodynamic therapy and psychoanalysis in Dupont Circle, Washington DC.  He has over fifteen years of experience working with adults, couples, and adolescents. Dr. Meckel's approach is collaborative and respectful.  He recognizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship in the work of change, and the need to know and deeply engage each client as a unique and complex person.  Dan’s orientation strives to deepen insight and self-knowledge, identify entrenched and destructive patterns in life, find answers, and open up new ways of being and experience.
