About

Daniel Meckel offers short-term and long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy as well as psychoanalysis.  He also provides therapy for couples at any point in their relationship, and offers mindfulness-based training and workshops for stress and anxiety. Dr. Meckel has extensive experience working with people who have experienced trauma in their lives and, when indicated, can facilitate or provide adjunct forms of treatment to work with the ongoing effects of trauma. When medication might be useful in conjunction with psychotherapy he works closely with a medical colleague as a therapeutic team.

Dr. Meckel's of in Annapolis is located on State Circle Drive, adjascent to The Annapolis Pottery.  He also has an office in Dupont Circle office at the corner of Connecticut Ave & Q Street.
